The incidence of congenital hypothyroidism in neonates born in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province from 2015 to 2021; A cross-sectional study

Introduction: Congenital hypothyroidism (CH) is one of the most common endocrine and metabolic disorders a preventable cause mental retardation across world. This disorder can be prevented if diagnosed treated before age four weeks. Objectives: study was performed to investigate incidence rate CH in infants Chaharmahal Bakhtiari province. Patients Methods: The data this were obtained by screening program from 2015 2021 health deputy Results: A total 651 patients with CH, which showed an 5.06 per 1000 births (1 198 live births) highest disease 2016 lowest 2021.
